Amanda Holden’s ‘topless dress’ escapes Ofcom investigation

Complaints about a revealing dress worn by Amanda Holden on Britain’s Acquired Talent might not be investigated by Ofcom.

The Published regulator said it acquired 683 complaints throughout three programmes about outfits worn through Holden and fellow choose Alesha Dixon.

Ofcom stated it known the attire “had attainable to offend some viewers right through what’s a family exhibit”.

However It ruled they “do not need handed most viewers’ expectations”.

Greater Than 650 complained to the regulator about the low cut Julien McDonald costume Holden wore on 1 June, with many complaining on social media it was inappropriate.

The regulator added that “Whereas some outfits were revealing, we regarded as it was appropriately scheduled”.

The live finals of england’s Received Skill had been broadcast each night on ITV at 19:30 BST at the finish of May Just and starting of June.

Ofcom also mentioned it might not check out different complaints concerning the show, after one episode noticed David Walliams drop his trousers in entrance of Simon Cowell.

“While his actions can be considered as offensive to a few, we found they were justified by using the sunshine-hearted, comedic context,” Ofcom mentioned.
