Azerbaijan rescues crew from Iranian ship before it sinks in Caspian Sea

It used to be doubtful what cargo the ship, the SHABAHANG, was once carrying.

The maritime company said the vessel had despatched a misery signal on Friday afternoon after entering trouble close to the Azeri port of Lenkoran.

Two helicopters and a border patrol vessel had then rushed to the realm and rescued the ship’s crew, it said.

It gave no small print about why the ship had run into hassle or the place the vessel used to be heading.
