Rockets Nene out for rest of playoffs with groin injury

(The Sports Activities Xchange) – The Houston Rockets announced Monday that reserve Heart Nene will pass over the rest of the NBA playoffs with a torn left adductor.

Nene suffered the groin injury in the first quarter of Sunday’s Sport 4 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The Rockets gained 125-104 to even the Western Convention semifinal series at two video games apiece.

Recreation 5 is Tuesday evening in San Antonio.

Nene performed simply two minutes ahead of struggling the injury. Rockets tutor Mike D’Antoni opted to play forward Ryan Anderson as the group’s backup Heart at the back of Clint Capela after Nene’s departure.

The 6-foot-11, 250-pound Nene entered Sunday’s Game averaging 10.Eight factors and 5.Three rebounds in 19.9 minutes per Game all over the playoffs. He averaged 9.1 factors and 4.2 rebounds in the common season.
