South Korea proposes talks on North Korea’s participation in winter Olympics

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea has proposed conserving working-degree talks with North Korea on the latter’s participation within the wintry weather Olympics set for subsequent month, the south’s unification ministry said on Friday.

It steered a date of January 15 for a gathering with a three-member delegation from the South to discuss the North’s participation in the Pyeongchang Olympics, the ministry stated in a remark.
