Todd Heap, ex-NFL star, kills daughter, three, in truck accident

A former NFL participant has by chance killed his three-12 months-old daughter at his home in Arizona, police say.

Todd Heap, 37, used to be transferring his truck in his driveway in the city of Mesa on Friday afternoon when the accident came about.

Police mentioned there have been no suspicious cases and Mr Heap showed no indicators of impairment.

The Former tight finish performed for the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals and used to be a two-time Pro-Bowler.

The accident passed off at about Sixteen:00 native time (23:00 GMT) on Friday.

The younger woman was once taken to an area clinic after the accident but didn’t live on.

Mr Heap attended Arizona State College and was once a first-spherical draft pick in 2001 for the Baltimore Ravens and played there for 10 seasons, turning into the group’s all-time chief in landing catches.

He performed two seasons for the Arizona Cardinals and retired in 2013.

Mr Heap has raised cash for ill and disadvantaged children thru a charitable groundwork, opening the Todd Heap Domestic Pediatric Middle in Baltimore in 2010.
