UK financial services minister keeps job after Johnson reshuffle

LONDON (Reuters) – The British govt minister in command of the country’s large monetary services and products business beforehand of Brexit, John Glen, has retained his job after Prime Minister Boris Johnson undertook a huge reshuffle of other ministerial roles.

Glen, whose formal title is Economic Secretary to the Treasury, will stay liable for financial services and products coverage and the government’s relationship with companies comparable to banks, insurers and asset managers.

“Very Pleased to be reappointed,” Glen stated on his respectable Twitter account on Friday. “I … look ahead to preserve combating for the town and for monetary inclusion.”

Glen stays in put up amid concerns that Brexit may threaten London’s standing because the financial center of Europe and that banks are shifting hundreds of jobs to the continent to preserve their access to the Eu single market.
