Actor Richard Johnson dies, aged 87

British actor Richard Johnson, whose profession spanned movie, theatre and TV, has died aged 87, his domestic has stated.

Johnson made his movie debut within the 1950s and featured in a large number of motion pictures, alongside stars such as Frank Sinatra, Laurence Olivier and Charlton Heston.

A founder member of the Royal Shakespeare Firm, Johnson played a number of lead roles together with Romeo and Mark Anthony in Julius Caesar.

Johnson died after a short sickness at the Royal Marsden Health Center in Chelsea, London. He’s survived via his wife Lynne, who he married in 2004, and his four children.
