Disgraced former NFL superstar Darren Sharper, who has pleaded guilty or no contest to rape and attempted rape charges in three states, is set to alter his not responsible plea in a federal rape case in New Orleans next week, court data exhibit.

Sharper, 39, has pleaded guilty or no contest to expenses in Arizona, California and Nevada in March as a part of a sequence of plea bargains prosecutors have stated will land him at least nine years in federal jail.

Native prosecutors in New Orleans have stated Sharper had reached a plea deal to settle the Louisiana case which, like the others, stems from allegations that he drugged ladies after which raped them. The deal isn’t anticipated to add to the overall time he serves in prison.

A filing in a new Orleans federal court docket on Thursday confirmed that Sharper’s change of plea listening to was once set for May 29 sooner than U.S. District Judge Jane Triche Milazzo.

He had pleaded not responsible closing month to fees of drugging ladies with intent to rape them there, but prosecutors said the plea used to be a formality that could later be reversed.
